VEG MINI MEAL Summer Quinoa Delight – Asian Organic Tempeh
Summer is our favourite time of the year, and to cheer it up we’ve come up with this exotic sweet & refreshing quinoa salad, made with fresh grilled pineapple, ginger, soy sauce, mirin and some fresh mint!..Wow what a combo! It will definitely surprise you once you start munching on it!
Pairing the salad is our delicious Asian Tempeh, which is one of the favourite vegan options when it comes to complete protein.
This meal will provide you with a good amount of fibre, complete protein and a whole lot of micronutrients for your body to benefit from.
Best to have this meal after training or during the day if you need an injection of energy, as it contains a solid amount of slow digesting carbs ideal for recovery and sustained energy.
CHEF’S TIP: Have this meal slightly warmed, and add some lemon or lime juice for a punch of tanginess!! Warm the Chimichurri Tofu in a pan and serve on top of the salad.
WARMING UP: Pre-heat oven @ 180ºc. Pierce film a few times and place in oven for 4min. Alternatively, microwave it for 30sec. NOTE: When warming up in the oven, the label will turn black and film may come off slightly. This is totally normal and won’t affect in any way the quality of the food.
