BREAKFAST Chai Poached Pears, Natural Coconut Yoghurt & Toasted Granola
Summer days have inspired us to create a breakfast meal that is wholesome, refreshing, somehow sweet, and provides a good dose of nutrients to kick start the day!
If you’re looking for something fresh and delicious then give this meal a try!!
We poach the pears with whole star annis, cinnamon sticks, cardamon pods, black pepper and some cloves and we cook them until tender, giving to these delicious fruit a Chai style flavour.
The natural coconut yoghurt is of course dairy free, contains probiotics and is low in sugars and contains all the goodness of fresh coconuts.
We source a locally made granola from our friends at ‘Gewrew Granola’ that contain a mix of hemp seeds, activated almonds, toasted coconut flakes, pepitas, sunflower seeds and chia seeds!!!
CHEF’S TIP: Eat it cold.
If you have a serious sweet tooth you might want to pour some raw honey or maple syrup over the top of this meal!
